OUR MINISTIRES

Hull’s Grove encourages experiencing God through worship. We have a very blended style of worship so we may reach more of our diverse congregation and community. We use hymns, southern gospel and contemporary music to lift up His name in praise. We also spend time in direct conversation with the Lord through prayers of thanksgiving and intercession for others. Another part of worship is the reading and preaching of the Word of God. We strive to apply what God says to our everyday lives, encourage others more, win the lost and uplift Christ. Worship is also a time for giving our time, talents and tithes. It also serves as an opportunity to fellowship with other believers as brothers and sisters in Christ. We believe in the Ordinance of Holy Communion, which is a very reverent part of worship that we frequently practice. Finally, we strive to see individual conviction leading to the realization of the need of a Savior, Jesus Christ, and the acceptance to follow Him. This decision is followed by believer’s baptism as an outward expression to others of the death, burial and resurrection to new life in Christ as a public profession of their faith in Him.

The student ministry here at Hulls Grove Baptist Church is here to serve middle school and high school students along with their families.  Our goal is to share Jesus with everyone while helping individuals in their walk with Him.  We also strive to help others within our community through various projects.  We meet every Wednesday night at 6:15 for Worship and Bible study.  We also enjoy getting together and just having some fun occasionally throughout the year.  We would love to have you come hang out with us.

What We Believe

The Bible

The Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error. The Bible is the revelation of God’s truth and is infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice.

God

There is one true God, the creator and sustainer of all things, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three persons of the Trinity are equal in substance, in power and in glory.

People

God created people male and female in his own image to know, love, and glorify Him. Because all people are created in the image of God, they are filled with dignity and worthy of honor and respect.

Sin

Since the Fall, all people are born opposed to God, rejecting or ignoring him and rebelling against His rule and reign. Because of this rebellion, we justly deserve God’s displeasure.  Having been separated from Him, we are without hope unless He graciously rescues us from our broken condition.

Jesus Christ

The only redeemer and hope for sinful people is the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, who is fully human and fully God. He became man, lived a perfectly sinless life, and bore the penalty of sin for His people.

Salvation

God sovereignly moves and in people to redeem, according to His own grace, wisdom, and pleasure. The Holy Spirit gives those people a new heart, leading and enabling them to put their faith in Jesus Christ, receiving and resting on Him alone for salvation.

Eternity

Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin in Hell, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation in Heaven.
